Fashion do or don’t? Mixed feelings about this new piece inspired by a pleated skirt in a dress shop window…

I sometimes worry about being a bit too all over the place in terms of subject matter.  This stack of newly finished work reflects that diversity:  a knitting painting, a new rabbit, and an experiment with stripes!  But seeing them all together like this makes me think that there is a thread running through my work. 

The images that seem to appear all on their own, unbidden, are irresistible.
