I sometimes worry about being a bit too all over the place in terms of subject matter. This stack of newly finished work reflects that diversity: a knitting painting, a new rabbit, and an experiment with stripes! But seeing them all together like this makes me think that there is a thread running through my work. A tenuous, spindly thread, but a thread nonetheless. Something about the color palettes, the scale, the intimacy, pulls these pieces together in a coherent way that I rather like…
